Having all this snowy weather has me thinking of this sweet couple and their chilly winter wedding from way back in February this year. I can’t believe I haven’t blogged this wedding yet! Having a baby sure does take up all the time I used to spend blogging. So I am working on getting updated in the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the blog for some gorgeous weddings from the past season.
My little brother got married this past weekend to the most amazing girl. To say I am excited to have Jacquie officially in the family would be an understatement.
Their wedding was one for the books, they were married in an evening ceremony at Cachet Restaurant & Bar. Surrounded by family and friends they exchanged rings and promised forever to each other. I have never been to a wedding with more love and laughter then this one.
Mikey and Jacquie I am so excited for you and love you both so much. Welcome to the family Jacquie!!
Melissa and Rob wanted a natural feel for their engagement session so Scanlon Creek was the perfect setting. We were hoping for some amazing light during the golden hour but the sun was playing hide and seek with us. As we were driving out of the park it made an appearance. Needless to say I waited in the road and stopped Melissa and Rob as they were leaving so we could grab a few sunset shots and I am so happy we did. They are some of my absolute favourites.
I absolutely love it when my couples are up for anything when it comes to their photos. Katrina and Alex were amazing sports, they opted to do their first look and bridal party photos outside in January. It was freezing but I think well worth the discomfort! I am so happy with how the photos came out!
Here is their story.
You may remember these two from their gorgeous sun filled engagement session. Danielle and Brett are so much fun to work with and I think they are pretty photogenic too, which makes my job easy.
The weather on their wedding day was less then ideal, to say it was chilly would be putting it mildly. But these two were troopers and decided to head outside anyway.
Danielle and Brett, thank you so much for allowing us to be there to capture your big day. I can’t wait to see all the joys that are heading your way!
